基督在圣经中的工作描述很清楚：祂是世界的救主。祂降世是为了为我们的罪而死，并永远除去罪恶。好消息是基督所做的远不止这些；祂不只是为我们的罪而死，基督的死为我们带来了更多的祝福！耶稣用来偿还我们罪债的宝血，其品质超越了世上所有的罪。我们怎么知道这一点呢？因为耶稣基督在偿还了我们所有的罪之后复活了！如果罪比基督更大，那么基督就会仍然留在死亡中。耶稣基督超乎万有（西1:15-20），祂用这个地位来拯救我们，并给我们更多我们不配得的祝福。这就是耶稣基督的恩典！
耶稣基督的十字架告诉我们，我们再也不会因我们的罪而被定罪。对于那些相信耶稣基督十字架的人，你们里面再也没有罪，再也没有地狱在等待你们；我们所拥有的是救恩——感谢神赐下祂的儿子耶稣基督！
