To refresh the weary land
There your people finally settled
And with a bountiful harvest, O God,
You provided for your needy people.
Psalm 68:9-10
Our God, The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is a God of blessings. One cannot speak about The LORD and not touch on how wonderfully and how abundantly He has provided for us, even in our normal daily lives. Did you ever lack food in your life? Were you ever neglected of shelter or clothing? Did you every lacked anything which actually lead to a threat to your life? If you are in Christ, I’m sure your answers to these questions would be No, No, and No. The Lord Jesus said that even the birds and flowers are taken care of by Him, how much more that we, children of The Most High, will be taken care of by our Father in heaven? (Matthew 6:26)

Solomon continues to speak about the Lord’s provisions praising Him for His faithfulness:
I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Psalm 37:25
Poverty is a curse brought about by Man’s fall. The good news is that Jesus Christ, through the cross became the spotless lamb, the scapegoat, the bronze serpent; He has conquered ALL our curses! You can work and worry all you want about food and provisions, but without The One who has lifted up the curse of poverty in us; our efforts will amount to nothing. Run to Jesus and receive His love. Let Him love you and save you from the curses we brought upon ourselves. Jesus Christ is the only answer. He is The only Provider. God bless His name forever.
