[img:Jesus Cross Washed Us] 1 John 2:1 “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense” Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”
Jesus Christ has died for us and cleansed us of ALL our sins. With this, we are forever forgiven and we are forever righteous in the Holy eyes of God. This is what Jesus was meant to do: to save us from our sins; and He did a perfect job. Jesus Christ is our High Priest (Hebrews 5:1-10) and our Advocate (1 John 2:1 KJV), that should we sin, He will stand before us and our accusers to defend our righteousness. Reminds me of the scene when Christ defended the woman caught in adultery (John 8). Will this revelation of eternal redemption and forgiveness cause people to sin more? Absolutely not! I don’t care what people have to say about God’s plan and wisdom. What matters is what the Bible says; and according to John, this revelation of eternal redemption was announced to us SO THAT WE WILL NOT SIN (verse 1). This is merely a supplement to what The Lord Jesus said that: People who know that they are forgiven will love others more (Luke 7:47).

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. (Psalm 51:7) So, I am here to remind everyone, that through Jesus Christ your sins are all forgiven! (Acts 13:38) The Holy Son of God came down to earth and washed us all clean with His perfect and sinless blood. Don’t be afraid of the truth: Through Jesus Christ, you are forever forgiven, now go and sin no more!
