Jesus is Supreme

“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.”
Sometimes we hear and read a lot about God’s love for us that we forget that He is also The Almighty God. Yes, getting more and more revelation about God’s love is one of the best things in life (if not the best) and is worthy to live for; but let us also meditate on the truth that the Person who loves us above all is also the Creator of the Universe and everything in it! “He is exalted as head over all.” You can use this truth in the perspective of health: if you are sick, I don’t care if it’s an imaginary cold or stage 4 cancer, whatever the sickness is, it WILL bow down to Jesus Christ, The Almighty God (Revelation 1:8). You can use this truth in the perspective of provision: If you are buried in debt or poverty, I don’t care if it’s a matter of cents or a matter of billions, if you call on the name which is above all names, your debt WILL have to bow down to The Lord.
Jesus Christ is Supreme, He is above everything (Colossians 1:15-20) and He is the only One who would lay down His life for you. Who else would you turn to?
