so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11
Isaiah 55:11 is one of my personal key verses when reading God's word. What is unfortunate today is that people read the Bible carrying this attitude that The bible is partly true and partly false. “We still have to play our part and discern which is of God or man.” Some parts were written by God while some parts were written by fallible men; hence, making the Scripture fallible and open to doubt. This is the reason why the word of God is easily stolen away from people who read the Bible (Mark 4).
When reading the Bible, I make it a point to remind myself time and again that the words I'm reading are the very words of our God and Creator. The Bible is made from the very breath of God (2 Timothy 3:16) and is therefore infallible and contains immeasurable wisdom that is available for the children of God to search and take. Everything that you read in the Bible is truth in itself.
Do you believe that the Lord will NEVER leave you nor forsake you? (Hebrews 13:5) Or do you believe this verse only when you are sleeping or only when you are happy? This is why the Holy Spirit kept Isiah 55:11 in His eternal Scriptures. Keep it in your daily reminders and never forget that God doesn't waste His Holy breath. When He says something, the whole universe has no choice but to obey. It can NEVER be that that Lord God would say “Light” and no light would appear. Anything that comes out of His mouth becomes alive and it will accomplish whatever our LORD God desires.
Read the Bible and know that every word from God WILL achieve its purpose. It dares not return to The Creator empty.
