God Will Repay Their Evil

[img:bluebells_by_garethhh-d4psxrf]Hebrews 10:30-31 “For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Are there people spreading lies about you? Do you feel that your enemies are triumphing over you? Fear not! For The Lord our God is with you and He will NEVER allow you to fall (Psalm 55:22). So how do we handle all these attacks and offenses done to us? I love the style of the Lord Jesus Who said:
If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. (Matthew 5:39-41)
What does The Lord Jesus mean by these? Let me tell you straight that the Lord is NOT teaching us to be stupid. What The Lord meant was for us to keep our peace – to keep our cool. How? By knowing that He, our Lord, will handle things. It is pointless to bite back from those who try to hurt us.
“Be still and know I Am God” says The LORD (Psalm 46:10). So, in the presence of troubles and attacks, it will be our greatest act of faith to do NOTHING. Let your enemies wag their tongues and plan their schemes against you; whatever it is it shall NOT prosper (Isaiah 54:17). I know how painful things can be. I know how sweet revenge can feel; but those are not God’s ways. Read the Bible and know more of God’s promises for His people. Be at peace, for He will comfort you and take good pleasure in knowing that He is a God Who repays good for good and evil for evil – He WILL visit those who hurt His beloved.
