Wisdom from Heaven

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” James 3:17-18
In these verses, The Lord is teaching us how to operate in His wisdom. The Bible shows that operating in His wisdom will lead to everything good that the Lord Jesus has promised us. This is what it means to ‘raise a harvest of righteousness.’ The verses are quite clear, God’s ways are ways of peace, mercy, gentleness (submissive) and sincerity. His ways are pure. So, when you’re having a bad day at work or at home, remember that anger and rage are not the ways of The Lord. After all, up to what extent can our anger help us? (if not make the problem worse?) Does ‘fighting’ our problems really work? Sit back, stay at peace and witness what miracles The Lord can do, especially when we are operating in His wisdom.
