The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. -1 Corinthians 2:14
We were once people from the dust that’s why we rejected The Saviour and His teachings; but now, we thirst and crave for Him because we are made new creations born out of His spirit. For the flesh will never understand the ways of God; all it can do is boast about itself and blame God when it falls. We need the Holy Spirit to discern His revelations and His ways.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9
For the flesh would argue in mockery: How can The King of heaven and earth die for His fallen creation? How can The Saviour of the world refuse to save Himself? How can The Shepherd become The Lamb who is sacrificed? How can The Most Beautiful become the ugliest?
How can it be that sinners were set free from death? That the ones who are guilty were showered with His love? That the ones who deserved death were made children of the Most High God? For the flesh these are but insults to the laws of justice. For what would be a bigger travesty that the guilty go free or have The Innocent slaughtered for the guilty? For The Spirit, these are needless questions because Jesus Christ accomplished all; that He who knew no sin became sin so that WE MAY LIVE (2 Corinthians 5:21). It is all because of JESUS CHRIST. All glory to His name, forever.
