Jesus Accepts You for Who You Are

Romans 15:7 “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”
When I read verses like these, I cannot help but focus on the words: ‘Christ accepted you.’ With these lines like: ‘But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’ (Romans 5:8), it comes to no wonder why they call it The Good News. One of the most important revelations we can receive is that Jesus Christ loves us – unconditionally. He is not the kind of Master who would command people to do things which He Himself cannot do. So, when The Lord commanded us to love one another; He practically showed us first, up to the highest form and level, what true love really is (John 15:13). That is another thing I love about The Lord. Jesus Christ talks the talk and He is Man enough to walk the walk. The Lord knows, in order for us to love each other, He should first show us what love is.
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:14-16
Let us not focus on our efforts and our performance in this world. Instead, read and ruminate on how much The Lord Jesus Christ loves you. The realization of Jesus’ love for you, my friend, will lead you to love others and bring praise to God! We love because He first loved us. -1 John 4:19
