God is Eternal, Forgiveness is Forever

“Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.”

God, the creator of the heavens and the earth, is beyond time.  The Lord is not surprised by anything that is happening right now: the major oil spill in Mexico, the rise of China, the birth of new viruses, and even the breakdown of the economic system.  He is not just God forever, He is God eternal.  For Him a thousand years is one day and one day can become a thousand years (2 Peter 3:8).  This would allow Jesus Christ, who died for man’s sin 2000 years ago, to die for all the sins of mankind: past, present, and future.  God has seen man fail and God knows man cannot save himself.  That is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be offered as the one time sacrifice for ALL sins (Hebrews 10:12).  Today, when you fall into sin, you can still come boldly and call God: “Father!”  Claim your forgiveness, for ALL your sins have been paid for by Jesus Christ forever! Thank God for His Son!
