Christ, The Rock Eternal

Who else can we place our trust into? When things are falling apart, or when life seems hopeless, to whom should we call for help? There are people who cry to their friends and there are some who really believe that money will solve everything; but the wise ones call in the name of the Lord!
….and that rock was Christ. (1 Corinthians 10:4)
The Lord Jesus is the Rock and He is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8) Put your trust on Someone whose love for you has been sealed on the cross and will never change! Money, material resources, even our very own friends will not be always here for us. They fluctuate, they change and they have their own problems that even they cannot handle. We need someone who can handle things and someone who will be with us at all places and at all times. In all of God’s creation, it is only Jesus Christ who can fulfill that need. Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— the LORD, who remains faithful forever.
-Psalm 146:3-6
